Pennsylvania High School Soccer - West Shamokin knocks off Punxsutawney

The West Shamokin Wolves soccer squad scored 7 points and held the host Punxsutawney Chucks to 2 in the Wolves non-league victory on Saturday.
The Wolves now possess a 6-5 record. They play next when they host Bishop Carroll for a non-league bout on Thursday, October 2. West Shamokin will play a Huskies squad coming off a 4-0 league loss to Bedford (Bedford, PA). The Huskies record now stands at 7-7.
With the loss, Punxsutawney falls to 1-7 on the campaign. The Chucks host Karns City (Karns City, PA) to face the Gremlins in a UAVSL Boys Central game on Tuesday, September 30. The Gremlins come into the game with a record of 5-7. Karns City won 4-1 in their recent non-league game against Sharpsville (Sharpsville, PA)
