Fans at Saturday's non-league battle between the West Windsor-Plainsboro South Pirates (Princeton Junction, NJ) and the host Sayreville Bombers (Parlin, NJ), saw West Windsor-Plainsboro South's soccer squad hold off Sayreville by a count of 1-0.

The Pirates (3-5) will now prepare for their battle against Robbinsville (Robbinsville, NJ). The Ravens enter the Colonial Valley - Colonial battle with a 3-6 record. In their last battle, Robbinsville was tipped by Notre Dame (Lawrenceville, NJ), 2-1, in a league match.

The Bombers now sport a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they host Trenton Central for a non-league match on Thursday, October 2.
