Nebraska High School Softball - Malcolm sneaks past Nebraska City

September 27, 2025: Malcolm, NE 68402

The Malcolm Clippers (Malcolm, NE) softball tipped the visiting Nebraska City Pioneers (Nebraska City, NE), 10-9 in Saturday's non-league match.

The Clippers (12-12) will now prepare for their battle against Plattsmouth (Plattsmouth, NE). The Blue Devils enter the non-league challenge with a 9-16 record. In their last challenge, Plattsmouth was nudged by Nebraska City (Nebraska City, NE), 9-3, in a non-league battle.

With the loss, Nebraska City moves to 13-7 on the season. The Pioneers host Ashland-Greenwood (Ashland, NE) to meet the Bluejays in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, September 30. The Bluejays come into the test with a record of 15-10. Ashland-Greenwood won 7-5 in their recent non-league test against Bishop Neumann (Wahoo, NE)
