Georgia High School Softball - Sandy Creek defeated by Westlake

The Sandy Creek Patriots softball squad (Tyrone, GA), was routed 15-7 in Saturday's non-league contest with the host Westlake Lions (Atlanta, GA)

With the triumph, Westlake improves its record to 9-6 on the year. The Lions host Tri-Cities (East Point, GA) to face the Bulldogs in a non-league contest on Wednesday, October 1. The Bulldogs enter the bout with a record of 7-9.

In their next game, the Patriots clash with the Mary Persons Bulldogs (Forsyth, GA) in a 3A Region 2 bout, on Tuesday, September 30. Sandy Creek will attempt to advance on its 5-16 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 14-8 record after their 8-2 league win over Spalding (Griffin, GA).
