In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Gray Collegiate Academy War Eagles volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Academic Magnet Raptors.

The War Eagles (11-3) will now prepare for their challenge against T.C. Roberson (Asheville, NC). The Rams go into the non-league test with a 9-11 record. In their last test, T.C. Roberson was defeated by Lucy Beckham (Mt. Pleasant, SC), 2-0, in a non-league test.

The Raptors now own a 11-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Timberland for a AA Region 6 challenge on Tuesday, September 30. Academic Magnet will meet a Wolves team coming off a 3-0 league win over Burke (Charleston, SC). The Wolves record now stands at 5-6.
