Lafayette Lions (Lafayette, LA) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting A.J. Ellender Patriots (Houma, LA), 2-0 in a non-league test.
The Lions (14-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Eunice (Eunice, LA). The Bobcats come into the non-league challenge with a 3-9 record.
Next, the Patriots meet the Opelousas Tigers (Opelousas, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 27. A.J. Ellender will attempt to upgrade on its 11-5 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 0-12 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to St. Edmund (Eunice, LA).
