The Cougars (14-8) will now prepare for their contest against John Hardin (Elizabethtown, KY). The Bulldogs enter the non-league contest with a 8-10 record. In their last battle, John Hardin was edged by Washington County (Springfield, KY), 3-2, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Patriots meet the Madisonville-North Hopkins Maroons (Madisonville, KY) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, September 27. Allen County-Scottsville will attempt to upgrade on its 17-10 season record. The Maroons enter the contest with a 11-13 record after their 3-1 non-league win over University Heights (Hopkinsville, KY).
