The Ashley Bears volleyball team (Ashley, MI), was knocked off 2-0 in Saturday's non-league contest with the host Vassar Vulcans (Vassar, MI)
The Vulcans (11-9) will now prepare for their contest against Akron-Fairgrove (Fairgrove, MI). The Vikings enter the non-league contest with a 4-3 record. In their last contest, Akron-Fairgrove was knocked off by Caseville (Caseville, MI), 3-1, in a non-league battle.
The Bears now own a 6-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Coleman for a Mid-State battle on Saturday, September 27. Ashley will encounter a Comets squad coming off a 3-2 league loss to Ashley (Ashley, MI). The Comets record now stands at 1-5.
