In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Oviedo Lions volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Atlantic Collegiate Academy Armada.
The Lions (14-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Conway (Conway, SC). The Tigers go into the non-league test with a 8-6 record. In their last test, Conway was defeated by North Myrtle Beach (Little River, SC), 3-1, in a league test.
The Armada now own a 13-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host James Island for a non-league test on Saturday, September 27. Atlantic Collegiate Academy will face a Trojans squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Stall (Charleston, SC). The Trojans record now stands at 18-6.
