Barbe Buccaneers (Lake Charles, LA) backers were pleased Saturday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the host St. Martinville Tigers (St. Martinville, LA), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Buccaneers (12-8) will now prepare for their challenge against University Lab (Baton Rouge, LA). The Cubs come into the non-league challenge with a 13-0 record. In their last challenge, University Lab beat Walker (Walker, LA), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Tigers play the University Lab Cubs (Baton Rouge, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 27. St. Martinville will attempt to upgrade on its 11-11 season record. The Cubs come into the challenge with a 13-0 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Walker (Walker, LA).
