The Bath County Chargers (Hot Springs, VA) volleyball overcame the host Smith Mountain Lake Christian Academy Ospreys (Moneta, VA), 2-0 in Saturday's non-league contest.

The Chargers (15-5) will now prepare for their contest against James River (Buchanan, VA). The Knights enter the non-league contest with a 9-2 record. In their last contest, James River notched a victory over Patrick County (Stuart, VA), 3-2, in a league contest.

Next, the Ospreys battle the Alleghany Cougars (Covington, VA) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, September 27. Smith Mountain Lake Christian Academy will attempt to move on its 0-5 season record. The Cougars enter the contest with a 8-1 record after their 3-1 league win over Wilson Memorial (Fishersville, VA).
