The Minnewaska Area Lakers topped the host Battle Lake Battlers volleyball squad by a final score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league game.
Next up, the Lakers face the Sauk Centre Mainstreeters (Sauk Centre, MN) in a West Central game, on Tuesday, September 30. Minnewaska Area will attempt to advance on its 14-0 season record. The Mainstreeters go into the game with a 10-2 record after their 3-1 league win over West Central Area (Barrett, MN).
The Battlers (9-6) will now prepare for their game against Frazee (Frazee, MN). The Hornets come into the non-league outing with a 15-3 record. In their last outing, Frazee defeated New York Mills (New York Mills, MN), 2-0, in a non-league outing.
