In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Bauxite Miners volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Sylvan Hills Bears.
The Miners (14-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Hackett (Hackett, AR). The Hornets come into the non-league challenge with a 13-3 record. In their last challenge, Hackett beat Mena (Mena, AR), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Bears face the Hackett Hornets (Hackett, AR) in a non-league test, on Saturday, September 27. Sylvan Hills will attempt to advance on its 6-7 season record. The Hornets go into the test with a 13-3 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Mena (Mena, AR).
