The Belle Plaine Plainsmen volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting East Marshall Mustangs to 1 in the Plainsmen non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Plainsmen now have a 9-10 record. They play next when they travel to H-L-V for a non-league outing on Monday, September 29. Belle Plaine will play a Warriors team coming off a 3-2 non-league win over English Valleys (North English, IA). The Warriors record now stands at 9-10.

With the loss, East Marshall drops to 9-14 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Hudson (Hudson, IA) to play the Pirates in a non-league outing on Tuesday, September 30. The Pirates come into the outing with a record of 19-7. Hudson won 3-2 in their recent non-league outing against Aplington-Parkersburg (Parkersburg, IA)
