In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Bishop Diego Cardinals volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Dos Pueblos Chargers.

The Cardinals (13-9) will now prepare for their challenge against La Jolla (La Jolla, CA). The Vikings come into the non-league challenge with a 7-9 record. In their last challenge, La Jolla lost by San Marcos (Santa Barbara, CA), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Chargers meet the San Marcos Royals (Santa Barbara, CA) in a Channel challenge, on Tuesday, September 30. Dos Pueblos will attempt to upgrade on its 4-18 season record. The Royals come into the challenge with a 16-2 record after their 3-0 non-league win over La Jolla (La Jolla, CA).
