In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting La Jolla Vikings volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Bishop Diego Cardinals.

The Vikings (9-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Point Loma (San Diego, CA). The Pointers come into the City - Eastern challenge with a 10-10 record. In their last test, Point Loma went down by Mission Bay (San Diego, CA), 3-1, in a league test.

The Cardinals now sport a 13-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cate for a Tri-Valley test on Tuesday, September 30. Bishop Diego will face a Rams squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to St. Bonaventure (Ventura, CA). The Rams record now stands at 7-4.
