Kansas High School Volleyball - Hillsboro over Bluestem

The Hillsboro Trojans (Hillsboro, KS) volleyball knocked off the host Bluestem Lions (Leon, KS), 2-0 in Saturday's non-league contest.

The Trojans (19-5) will now prepare for their contest against Douglass (Douglass, KS). The Bulldogs enter the non-league contest with a 7-9 record. In their last battle, Douglass achieved victory over Belle Plaine (Belle Plaine, KS), 2-0, in a league battle.

The Lions now own a 6-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Caney Valley for a Tri-Valley battle on Tuesday, September 30. Bluestem will encounter a Bullpups squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Argonia (Argonia, KS). The Bullpups record now stands at 16-7.
