In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Knoxville Panthers volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Boone Toreadors.

The Panthers (16-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Clarke (Osceola, IA). The Indians enter the South Central challenge with a 5-15 record. In their last challenge, Clarke beat Hoover (Des Moines, IA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Toreadors face the Carlisle Wildcats (Carlisle, IA) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, September 30. Boone will attempt to improve on its 5-9 season record. The Wildcats go into the test with a 5-16 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Mid-Prairie (Wellman, IA).
