The Breathitt County Bobcats volleyball team (Jackson, KY), was knocked off 2-0 in Saturday's non-league contest with the visiting Whitley County Colonels (Williamsburg, KY)

The Colonels (19-3) will now prepare for their contest against Southwestern (Somerset, KY). The Warriors enter the non-league contest with a 1-19 record. In their last contest, Southwestern was knocked off by Pulaski County (Somerset, KY), 3-1, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Bobcats meet the Knox Central Panthers (Barbourville, KY) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, September 27. Breathitt County will attempt to move on its 11-7 season record. The Panthers enter the contest with a 9-5 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Somerset Christian (Somerset, KY).
