Alabama High School Volleyball - Lawrence County Briarwood Christian

Briarwood Christian Lions (Birmingham, AL) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Lawrence County Red Devils (Moulton, AL), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Briarwood Christian improves its record to 21-3 on the season. The Lions host Homewood (Homewood, AL) to meet the Patriots in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, September 30. The Patriots enter the challenge with a record of 15-14. Homewood lost 2-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Buckhorn (New Market, AL)

Next, the Red Devils meet the UMS-Wright Prep Bulldogs (Mobile, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 27. Lawrence County will attempt to upgrade on its 20-18 season record. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a 13-7 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Mobile Christian (Mobile, AL).
