The Martins Ferry Purple Riders (Martins Ferry, OH) volleyball knocked off the host Brooke Bruins (Wellsburg, WV), 2-0 in Saturday's league bout.

The Purple Riders now possess a 13-4 record. They play next when they travel to Wheeling Park for a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 30. Martins Ferry will clash with a Patriots team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Parkersburg South (Parkersburg, WV). The Patriots record now stands at 5-10.
