California High School Volleyball - Buchanan tips Saint Francis

September 27, 2025: Mountain View, CA 94040

The Buchanan Bears volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host Saint Francis Lancers to 2 in the Bears non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Bears now have a 24-4 record. They play next when they host Clovis West for a Tri-River outing on Tuesday, September 30. Buchanan will play a Golden Eagles team coming off a 3-0 league win over Clovis East (Clovis, CA). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 20-5.

With the loss, Saint Francis moves to 11-7 on the season. The Lancers travel to Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory (San Francisco, CA) to play the Fightin' Irish in a West Catholic outing on Tuesday, September 30. The Fightin' Irish come into the outing with a record of 10-6. Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory lost 3-1 in their recent league outing against Archbishop Riordan (San Francisco, CA)
