La Serna Lancers (Whittier, CA) backers were pleased Saturday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the host Buckley Griffins (Sherman Oaks, CA), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Lancers (19-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Mark Keppel (Alhambra, CA). The Aztecs come into the non-league challenge with a 3-11 record. In their last challenge, Mark Keppel lost by Bell Gardens (Bell Gardens, CA), 3-0, in a league challenge.

The Griffins (9-6) will now prepare for their game against Le Lycee (Los Angeles, CA). The Lions go into the Liberty game with a 2-9 record. In their last game, Le Lycee beat Pilibos (Los Angeles, CA), 3-0, in a league outing.
