South Laurel Cardinals (London, KY) followers left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Butler County Bears (Morgantown, KY), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Cardinals (8-15) will now prepare for their challenge against Clay County (Manchester, KY). The Tigers come into the non-league challenge with a 7-12 record. In their last challenge, Clay County beat Owsley County (Booneville, KY), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Bears play the Barren County Trojans (Glasgow, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, September 29. Butler County will attempt to upgrade on its 9-18 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 15-10 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Metcalfe County (Edmonton, KY).
