The Carlisle Wildcats volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting Des Moines East Scarlets to 0 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Wildcats now have a 5-16 record. They play next when they host Mid-Prairie for a non-league outing on Saturday, September 27. Carlisle will play a Golden Hawks team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Alburnett (Alburnett, IA). The Golden Hawks record now stands at 15-4.

With the loss, Des Moines East drops to 1-4 on the campaign. The Scarlets travel to Perry (Perry, IA) to play the Bluejays in a non-league outing on Monday, September 29. The Bluejays come into the outing with a record of 2-14. Perry lost 2-0 in their recent non-league outing against Paton-Churdan (Churdan, IA)
