Nebraska High School Volleyball - Overton over Chase County

In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Overton Eagles volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Chase County Longhorns.

The Eagles (16-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Southwest (Bartley, NE). The Roughriders come into the non-league test with a 13-1 record. In their last test, Southwest achieved victory over Arapahoe (Arapahoe, NE), 3-0, in a non-league test.

The Longhorns now own a 6-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hitchcock County for a non-league test on Saturday, September 27. Chase County will face a Falcons squad coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Cheylin (Bird City, KS). The Falcons record now stands at 4-11.
