The Kamiakin Braves edged the visiting Chugiak Mustangs volleyball squad by a final score of 1-0 in Saturday's non-league game.
Next up, the Braves confront the Walla Walla Blue Devils (Walla Walla, WA) in a 3A/4A Mid-Columbia game, on Tuesday, September 30. Kamiakin will attempt to advance on its 8-0 season record. The Blue Devils go into the game with a 3-3 record after their 3-0 league loss to Richland (Richland, WA).
The Mustangs (16-9) will now prepare for their game against West Anchorage (Anchorage, AK). The Eagles go into the 4A Cook Inlet game with a 6-19 record. In their last game, West Anchorage was edged by Service (Anchorage, AK), 2-0, in a non-league game.
