Nebraska High School Volleyball - Shelby-Rising City Clarkson/Leigh

Clarkson/Leigh Patriots (Clarkson, NE) boosters left the game pleased Saturday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the host Shelby-Rising City Huskies (Shelby, NE), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Patriots (14-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Aquinas (David City, NE). The Monarchs go into the non-league test with a 3-11 record. In their last test, Aquinas gained a win over East Butler (Brainard, NE), 2-0, in a non-league test.

The Huskies now sport a 11-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Bend Central for a non-league challenge on Saturday, September 27. Shelby-Rising City will play a Tigers team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over West Point-Beemer (West Point, NE). The Tigers record now stands at 8-7.
