Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Twin Cedars Sabers (Bussey, IA) and the host Collins-Maxwell (Maxwell, IA), observed Twin Cedars's volleyball team top Collins-Maxwell by a tally of 2-0.

The Sabers (7-15) will now prepare for their contest against Diagonal (Diagonal, IA). The Maroons enter the non-league contest with a 3-11 record. In their last test, Diagonal was defeated by Clarke (Osceola, IA), 2-0, in a non-league test.

The now own a 2-19 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to GMG for a non-league test on Thursday, October 2. Collins-Maxwell will encounter a Wolverines squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to BCLUW (Conrad, IA). The Wolverines record now stands at 4-13.
