In Saturday's non-league match, the Conner Cougars (Hebron, KY) volleyball squad overcame the host Henry Clay Blue Devils (Lexington, KY), by a count of 2-0.

Next up, the Cougars battle the South Warren Spartans (Bowling Green, KY) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, September 27. Conner will attempt to better on its 19-7 season record.

With the loss, Henry Clay drops to 20-6 on the year. The Blue devils host Woodford County (Versailles, KY) to battle the Yellowjackets in a non-league contest on Wednesday, October 8. The Yellowjackets enter the contest with a record of 15-8.
