    The Socorro Warriors volleyball squad (Socorro, NM), dropped 3-0 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Deming Wildcats (Deming, NM)

    With the win, Deming improves its record to 2-7 on the season. The Wildcats host Gadsden (Anthony, NM) to encounter the Panthers in a non-league battle on Thursday, October 2. The Panthers go into the battle with a record of 2-8. Gadsden lost 3-2 in their recent non-league battle against Chaparral (Chaparral, NM)

    The Warriors now own a 1-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bosque for a non-league battle on Tuesday, September 30. Socorro will battle a Bobcats team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Los Alamos (Los Alamos, NM). The Bobcats record now stands at 5-7.
