In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Missouri Valley Big Reds volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Denison-Schleswig Monarchs.

The Big Reds (17-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Boyer Valley (Dunlap, IA). The Bulldogs come into the non-league challenge with a 13-9 record. In their last challenge, Boyer Valley beat Paton-Churdan (Churdan, IA), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Monarchs meet the Boyer Valley Bulldogs (Dunlap, IA) in a non-league test, on Saturday, September 27. Denison-Schleswig will attempt to advance on its 7-14 season record. The Bulldogs go into the test with a 13-9 record after their 3-0 league win over Paton-Churdan (Churdan, IA).
