The Patriots (4-13) will now prepare for their contest against Sturgis Brown (Sturgis, SD). The Scoopers enter the AA District 1 contest with a 5-12 record. In their last contest, Sturgis Brown was knocked off by Hot Springs (Hot Springs, SD), 3-1, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Crusaders battle the St. Thomas More Cavaliers (Rapid City, SD) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, October 2. Mahpiya Luta will attempt to improve on its 1-14 season record. The Cavaliers go into the battle with a 17-4 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Spearfish (Spearfish, SD).
