The Powers Cruisers volleyball squad (Powers, OR), was knocked off 2-0 in Saturday's non-league contest with the host East Linn Christian Academy Eagles (Lebanon, OR)

The Eagles (7-6) will now prepare for their contest against Central Linn (Halsey, OR). The Cobras enter the 2A Valley Coast contest with a 6-6 record. In their last contest, Central Linn was knocked off by Crosshill Christian (Turner, OR), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Cruisers meet the Elkton Elks (Elkton, OR) in a 1A Skyline contest, on Tuesday, September 30. Powers will attempt to move on its 7-4 season record. The Elks enter the contest with a 8-2 record after their 3-0 league win over Riddle (Riddle, OR).
