The Flinthills Mustangs volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the host Ell-Saline Cardinals to 1 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Mustangs now possess a 14-5 record. They play next when they travel to Remington for a non-league outing on Saturday, September 27. Flinthills will confront a Broncos squad coming off a 2-1 league win over Ell-Saline (Brookville, KS). The Broncos record now stands at 8-15.
The Cardinals (13-14) will now prepare for their match against Sterling (Sterling, KS). The Black Bears enter the Heart of America match with a 9-10 record. In their last match, Sterling held off Southeast of Saline (Gypsum, KS), 2-0, in a non-league match.
