Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Knoxville Panthers (Knoxville, IA) and the host Forest City Indians (Forest City, IA), observed Knoxville's volleyball team top Forest City by a tally of 2-0.

The Panthers (16-6) will now prepare for their contest against Clarke (Osceola, IA). The Indians enter the South Central contest with a 5-15 record. In their last contest, Clarke beat Hoover (Des Moines, IA), 2-0, in a non-league test.

The Indians now own a 12-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Clear Lake for a non-league test on Monday, September 29. Forest City will encounter a Lions squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Clarion-Goldfield/DOWS (Clarion, IA). The Lions record now stands at 10-5.
