In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Francis W. Parker Colonels volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Mather Rangers.

The Colonels (7-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Niles West (Skokie, IL). The Wolves come into the non-league challenge with a 10-8 record. In their last challenge, Niles West edged Vernon Hills (Vernon Hills, IL), 2-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Rangers play the Niles West Wolves (Skokie, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 27. Mather will attempt to upgrade on its 9-9 season record. The Wolves come into the challenge with a 10-8 record after their 2-0 league win over Vernon Hills (Vernon Hills, IL).
