In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Frankfort Panthers volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Gallatin County Wildcats.
The Panthers (3-18) will now prepare for their challenge against Simon Kenton (Independence, KY). The Pioneers go into the non-league test with a 9-8 record. In their last test, Simon Kenton gained a win over South Oldham (Crestwood, KY), 2-0, in a non-league test.
The Wildcats now sport a 5-16 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Eminence for a District 31 challenge on Saturday, September 27. Gallatin County will play a Warriors team coming off a 3-0 league win over Gallatin County (Warsaw, KY). The Warriors record now stands at 18-3.
