Kentucky High School Volleyball - Nelson County Franklin County

September 27, 2025: Bardstown, KY 40004

Franklin County Flyers (Frankfort, KY) backers exited the stadium pleased Saturday as they witnessed their volleyball team run past the host Nelson County Cardinals (Bardstown, KY), 2-0 in a non-league outing.

The Flyers now have a 19-12 record. They play next when they host Western Hills for a District 41 outing on Tuesday, September 30. Franklin County will play a Wolverines team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Woodford County (Versailles, KY). The Wolverines record now stands at 8-10.

With the loss, Nelson County drops to 5-15 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to Oldham County (Buckner, KY) to play the Colonels in a non-league outing on Tuesday, September 30. The Colonels come into the outing with a record of 10-6.
