Michigan High School Volleyball - Grosse Pointe South tips Skyline

The Grosse Pointe South Blue Devils (Grosse Pointe, MI) volleyball held off the host Skyline Eagles (Ann Arbor, MI), 2-1 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Blue Devils now hold a 10-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Marysville for a non-league match on Saturday, September 27. Grosse Pointe South will battle a Vikings squad coming off a 3-1 league win over Grosse Pointe North (Grosse Pointe, MI). The Vikings record now stands at 16-7.

The Eagles (17-9) will now prepare for their match against Saline (Saline, MI). The Hornets come into the South Eastern - Red bout with a 12-5 record. In their last bout, Saline nipped Adams (Rochester, MI), 2-0, in a non-league bout.
