Grygla-Gatzke Eagles (Grygla, MN) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Mahnomen/Waubun Thunderbirds (Mahnomen, MN), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Grygla-Gatzke improves its record to 6-9 on the season. The Eagles travel to Kittson Central (Hallock, MN) to face the Bearcats in a non-league test on Thursday, October 2. The Bearcats go into the test with a record of 6-7.

The Thunderbirds now own a 4-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Polk County West [Climax/Fisher] for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, September 30. Mahnomen/Waubun will meet a Knights team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Crookston (Crookston, MN). The Knights record now stands at 9-5.
