Hamilton Hawkeyes (Hamilton, MI) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad nudge the host Three Rivers Wildcats (Three Rivers, MI), 2-1 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Hamilton upgrades its record to 18-7 on the campaign. The Hawkeyes host Unity Christian (Hudsonville, MI) to face the Crusaders in a Ottawa-Kent - Black test on Tuesday, September 30. The Crusaders go into the test with a record of 6-6. Unity Christian won 2-1 in their recent non-league test against Harper Creek (Battle Creek, MI)

The Wildcats now sport a 20-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. Philip Catholic Central for a non-league test on Saturday, September 27. Three Rivers will face a Fighting Tigers squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Burr Oak (Burr Oak, MI). The Fighting Tigers record now stands at 16-6.
