In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Swanville Bulldogs volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Hancock Owls.

The Bulldogs (14-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Walker-Hackensack-Akeley (Walker, MN). The Wolves come into the non-league challenge with a 6-7 record. In their last challenge, Walker-Hackensack-Akeley beat Clearbrook-Gonvick (Clearbrook, MN), 3-0, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Owls face the Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa Jaguars (Belgrade, MN) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, September 30. Hancock will attempt to advance on its 9-11 season record. The Jaguars go into the test with a 9-4 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Sauk Centre (Sauk Centre, MN).
