With the victory, Rural Retreat moves its record to 8-7 on the year. The Indians host Chilhowie (Chilhowie, VA) to meet the Warriors in a Hogoheegee challenge on Tuesday, September 30. The Warriors enter the challenge with a record of 8-4. Chilhowie lost 3-0 in their recent league test against Patrick Henry (Glade Spring, VA)

The Warriors now own a 2-21 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Unicoi County for a non-league test on Monday, September 29. Happy Valley will face a Blue Devils squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to William Blount (Maryville, TN). The Blue Devils record now stands at 1-8.
