North Carolina High School Volleyball - Hickory over McMichael

The Hickory Red Tornadoes (Hickory, NC) volleyball knocked off the host McMichael Phoenix (Mayodan, NC), 2-0 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Red Tornadoes now possess a 23-4 record. They play next when they travel to Kings Mountain for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 27. Hickory will clash with a Mountaineers team coming off a 3-0 league win over Forestview (Gastonia, NC). The Mountaineers record now stands at 19-1.

With the loss, McMichael drops to 15-9 on the year. The Phoenix travel to Bishop McGuinness (Kernersville, NC) to battle the Villains in a non-league match on Monday, September 29. The Villains enter the match with a record of 13-3. Bishop McGuinness won 3-0 in their recent league match against North Stokes (Danbury, NC)
