South Aiken Thoroughbreds (Aiken, SC) followers left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the visiting Hilton Head Christian Academy Eagles (Hilton Head Island, SC), 2-1 in a non-league outing.

The Thoroughbreds now have a 17-10 record. They play next when they travel to St. Vincent's for a non-league outing on Saturday, September 27. South Aiken will play a Saints team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Richmond Hill (Richmond Hill, GA). The Saints record now stands at 25-7.

With the loss, Hilton Head Christian Academy drops to 17-12 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Laurence Manning Academy (Manning, SC) to play the Swampcats in a SCISA AAAA Region III outing on Monday, September 29. The Swampcats come into the outing with a record of 0-3.
