The Kiowa County Mavericks topped the visiting Ness City Eagles volleyball squad by a final score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league game.

Next up, the Mavericks face the Larned Indians (Larned, KS) in a non-league game, on Saturday, September 27. Kiowa County will attempt to advance on its 7-13 season record. The Indians go into the game with a 4-12 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Thomas More Prep-Marian (Hays, KS).

The Eagles (4-16) will now prepare for their game against Ellinwood (Ellinwood, KS). The Eagles go into the Central Prairie game with a 22-0 record. In their last game, Ellinwood gained a win over Little River (Little River, KS), 2-1, in a non-league game.
