Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Pewamo-Westphalia Pirates (Pewamo, MI) and the visiting Lutheran Warriors (Westland, MI), observed Pewamo-Westphalia's volleyball team top Lutheran by a count of 2-0.

The Pirates (16-4) will now prepare for their contest against Dansville (Dansville, MI). The Aggies enter the Central Michigan contest with a 6-9 record. In their last challenge, Dansville beat Lansing Christian (Lansing, MI), 3-1, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Warriors face the Oscoda Owls (Oscoda, MI) in a non-league test, on Saturday, September 27. Lutheran will attempt to improve on its 4-12 season record. The Owls go into the test with a 6-13 record after their 3-0 league win over Alcona (Lincoln, MI).
