The Mahtomedi Zephyrs prevailed the host Pine City Dragons volleyball squad by a final score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Zephyrs now possess a 10-5 record. They play next when they travel to Academy of Holy Angels for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 27. Mahtomedi will clash with a Stars team coming off a 3-0 league win over Visitation (Mendota Heights, MN). The Stars record now stands at 13-2.

With the loss, Pine City drops to 3-14 on the campaign. The Dragons travel to Chisago Lakes Area (Lindstrom, MN) to clash with the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 27. The Wildcats come into the bout with a record of 10-5. Chisago Lakes Area won 3-0 in their recent league bout against St. Francis (St. Francis, MN)
