Minnesota High School Volleyball - Pine City Maranatha Christian Academy

Maranatha Christian Academy Mustangs (Brooklyn Park, MN) backers were pleased Saturday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the host Pine City Dragons (Pine City, MN), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Mustangs (7-12) will now prepare for their challenge against Cambridge-Isanti (Cambridge, MN). The Bluejackets come into the non-league challenge with a 1-13 record. In their last challenge, Cambridge-Isanti lost by North Branch (North Branch, MN), 3-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Dragons play the Chisago Lakes Area Wildcats (Lindstrom, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 27. Pine City will attempt to upgrade on its 3-14 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 10-5 record after their 3-0 league win over St. Francis (St. Francis, MN).
